Whenever I Feel Afraid

Doo dobe doo doo bee doo...

And more of the same, tra la...

And hopefully that's got that song out of my head. One of the most irritating of late, it has to be said. I'd rather be afraid to be honest. But at least I didn't have to resort to whistling.

Sorry to hear you got an ear-worm! ;-) You've passed it to me now! ;-)

Lovely photos, wish my hellebores had done as well. Have 3 planted out in the yard, and one has flowered for the first time this year, but just a single bloom. It's a white double. Got them as a freebie with some other plants, so am glad that at least one has decided to flower. :-)

I'm wondering what your first photo is of - looks like a tree or bush, but the flower is asymmetric.

Sorry not to have commented for a while - I'm sure you know what it's like when "life keeps happening".

Hugs from Liverpool

Maggie I'm so late replying to this you must have got that earworm out by now :-)

Oh how I wish they were my hellebores. No, Botanical Gardens from a couple of weeks ago. Glad you've had at least some success. I plan to have loads of them next year. They are my favourites. It just didn't happen this time round - too much ill health around planting time.

The first picture is a teeny tiny blossom about half a centimetre big bursting from a twig. Us macro photographers do like to make things confusing...
